The West Greenville Arts Festival will be in the parking lot and first 1/2 block on Smith Street at Pendleton Street in Downtown Greenville, SC.
The West Greenville Arts Festival will be featuring nearly 100 artists, 40 art studios and 35 art booths. There will be pizza from Barley’s available as well as live music like blues legend Mac Arnold. Entertainers TimTV and the Tumbledown Family Cirkus will also be there along with other entertainers and music acts. There will even be a street performer walking around on stilts and breathing fire.
This is the first West Greenville Arts Festival which was designed to promote the newly renovated Pendleton Street Arts District, which is home to numerous art studios in Downtown Greenville, SC.
The event is free to the public, but you will want to bring some money with you for some great dining at local restaurants or to buy a piece of artwork from a local artist. The event is sure to be a lot of fun for the entire family. GVLSC will be there to take pictures and talk to some of the local artists, which we will be publishing a follow up report on after the weekend. I look forward to seeing everyone there for a great weekend in Downtown Greenville, SC.
I enjoy art a lot and so does my wife. My late Aunt was also a professional oil painter, so my life has always been full of art. Even though she is not with us anymore, I still have of her paintings hanging on my wall that remind me of her and her great talent every time I look at them. Art is an excellent hobby that promotes creativity and abstract thinking.
