First Fashion Greenville Fashion Show

Sixty-five models, including celebrity Lynne Curtin, have been cast to walk in 14 fashion shows on October 22 and 23, 2010 in downtown Greenville. The event, called Fashion Greenville, is a product of G Magazine, which is a local lifestyle magazine here in Greenville, SC.

Lynne Curtin is from the hit reality series The Real Housewives of Orange County on Bravo TV. She will be walking the catwalk on Friday October 22, 2010 and also hosting the VIP party at Devereaux’s after the fashion show on Saturday night.

Many of the models are actually people from right here in the Upstate. Fashion Greenville held a model casting call in September to find people to walk the catwalk in the fashion show and many local models were cast to grace the catwalks of Greenville for the first time ever.

Fashion Greenville will be featuring designers from leading retailers in the community. Many of these are local designers like George Hincapie Designs, Southern Tide and Beija-Flor Jeans featuring Lynne Curtin Designs.

Verizon Wireless’ Premium Retailer in this region, Wireless Communications has signed up to be the Presenting Sponsor for the first Fashion Greenville. “We are very excited about Verizon’s participation and the line-up for the debut Fashion Greenville,” says Jack Bacot, editor in chief of G Magazine. “We believe it will be a great event for downtown Greenville, and the entire retail fashion community in the Upstate.”

Ivy Salon will be providing makeup services for all of the models for the fashion show and Wilson’s on Washington will be providing stylists to do the models’ hair.

Fashion Greenville should be a very exciting and glamorous weekend for Greenville, SC. I know a lot of you have dreamed of walking the red carpet, being in a fashion show yourself or just rubbing elbows with celebrities.
